Know Before You Go!
What should you bring?
- Your phone or camera!
- A small cooler with drinks/snacks
- Sun protective clothing for the warmer months and insulated clothing for the cooler months.
- Your Fishing License(s)
- PA does require a Lake Erie stamp. A Lake Erie Trout combo stamp is nice to have in case you catch a steelhead that you would like to keep.
What’s provided?
- Everything you need to fish
- Rods, reels, bait, tackle, fish cleaning and a guide with a great attitude.
Weather
- Your safety is my first concern, your ability to have fun follows closely behind that. Rough conditions risk both of those, and I’d rather cancel the trip than risk it.
- I closely monitor many weather apps and information sources. If for any reason I think our trip is in jeopardy I’ll let you know right away.
Where to stay?
There are many area hotels, but here are a few that our guests commonly use. I would recommend booking only after we know the weather is going to cooperate. If you must book well in advance, please choose refundable accomodations. The weather here can change quickly.

- Smoking and vaping of any product is prohibited on board.
- For insurance reasons alcohol is also prohibited on board. Any visible signts of impairment prior to the trip will result in forfeiture of your deposit and cancellation of the trip.
